Dear fellow Loyolites,

We are very honoured and indeed privileged to take up our new responsibilities at LOBA. Let me acknowledge the tireless efforts of all those who have been here before us. Right from Jimmy Antony – the founder Secretary to C Padmakumar, Manoj Surendran and Anil Kumar P, each of whom have tirelessly worked for LOBA and what it stands for. We hope to carry on this tradition.

Secretary's Message

Dear fellow Loyolites ,

Greetings from the Executive Committee of LOBA for 2017-18.

Over the last three years, LOBA has been trying to chart a new course in an effort to be more meaningful to the fraternity, and to society as a whole. The first step was in recognising the excellence within ourselves and felicitating them on a platform that they would cherish. Thus the Global Leadership Award (GLA). The first two editions of the GLA were smash hits, with a Young Achiever Award (YAA) category added last year.

It is now time to seek nominations for the 3rd edition of GLA...

Obituary - Remembering Shri. K S Pillai sir and Fr. Theckemury Antony SJ

Dear fellow Loyolites,

The LOBA ExCom met on August 2 in Trivandrum to offer our condolences in the passing away of our beloved teacher – Shri. K S Pillai (81 years). In the condolence meeting, those present reminisced the times spent with Pillai sir and a few shared some interesting anecdotes as well.

Pillai sir started his journey with Loyola in January 1967 and continued for 26 long years until March 1993. He taught both Mathematics and Hindi.
